Hello Hello
I have a free minute so I figured I jump on here and let you all know we are doing well. Ben's doing fantastic although we has a doctors appt. on Thur to discuss his tummy/butt issues. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about- the short version is Ben has had really BAD diarrhea diapers for the past couple months. It started when he went onto milk and at first this was normal but it isn't any longer. His poops should have gone back to normal consistency but they didn't and he has about 4-6 (on a good day) diarrhea diapers in a 12 hr period. Luckily enough though we are not dealing with lots of gas or upset tummies. OK enough about that lovely topic (gosh if he reads this when he's 15 he's going to kill me:) Onto the good stuff: He's a pro walker now and has even started attempting to walk backwards and jump- it's comical! Also, he's picking up his signs better now- he has mastered "more", knows what "no" is, and today started doing "please." Hmmm other things he has down now are blowing kisses, the "roll it" part of patty cake (he's had the clapping down pat for awhile now), peek a book, he can show you where is eyes are & his nose. These are just the things that come to mind first and I know there is much much more.

In "new" news/events in our life- Ben starts going to daycare 1 day a week starting on the 17th. He will go every Wed. 9-4 until Dec 10th and I can't wait for him to start! I've been having difficulty these past couple weeks since coming home and some days (lately more often than not) I feel like I'm barely "getting by" so I figured this was the best solution for both of us. We get a little separate time: him to play and have fun, me to do chores (which have sadly taken a back seat to everything else), school work, errands, and if there is time left over........ for me to do a big fat NOTHING! Oh and not to mention find my patience again :) Ah-- I don't know how single parents do this- so my hats go off to all of you had or are doing this on your own!
